Jess uses Osteopathy to restore balance in the musculoskeletal system, and minimise the stress that can accelerate degeneration, promote inflammation that can result in pain and discomfort. Jess uses massage, visceral manipulation, cranio-sacral technique, dry needling, gentle manipulation and stretching to free restricted joints and release tight muscles, fascias and organs. This can assist the body to return to its most efficient state of health.

Jess, a Life Coach and previously a Personal Trainer has a special interest in using exercise rehabilitation and functional (integrative) medicine principals including diet, sleep hygiene, stress management to support her management.

Jess’ aim is to (where possible) keep you in your training, work or your sport during your management, which can include guidance on how to modify your exercise sessions or work tasks to keep you doing what you love to do, in addition to enhancing your healing.

Jess ensures you fully understand your condition and can educate you on simple and effective management and preventative strategies that you can easily implement into your lifestyle in your home or workplace.

Jess is a university trained, government registered Osteopath and a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association, and is also registered with Medicare, Work Cover Queensland and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Jess participates in ongoing skill development and education to remain at the forefront of the application of treatment and patient management. This includes extra study with Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, Bioindividual Nutrition, Barral Institute, GAPS Certified Practitioner Training and the Mindd Institute.

Dr. Jeremy Jose   B.Sc (Clin Sc.) MH.Sc (Osteopathy) Registered Osteopath

Jeremy was educated at Victoria University, where he gained a Bachelor Degree in Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy).  Jeremy is also qualified in Dry Needling, which can be incorporated into Osteopathic treatment if indicated.

Jeremy has been actively involved in competitive sport from an early age including basketball, football, soccer & cricket. His passion for sport has ultimately lead him to his professional career with a keen interest in the treatment and management of sporting injuries. Convinced that health care is more than just treating an injured body part, many of Jeremy’s core values centre on the belief that effective rehabilitation and education for an individual leads to future injury prevention.

Dr. Mark Shaw  B.Sc (Osteopath)
Registered Osteopath

Mark trained at the British School of Osteopathy gaining a Bachelor of Science Degree, he has been in private practise for over 20 years.

Mark enjoys treating a wide variety of patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly. Drawing on his training and extensive experience he uses a combination of gentle, safe and effective Osteopathic techniques combined with simple lifestyle and exercise tips to aid recovery and rehabilitation, tailored to suit the individual needs of each patient.

In his spare time Mark enjoys weight training, kayaking and horse riding and before coming to Australia was a keen skier and spent many seasons in New Zealand treating extreme and competitive skiers in Queenstown.
