Our Osteopaths

Dr. Jess Harvey

Jess uses Osteopathy to restore balance in the musculoskeletal system, and minimise the stress that can accelerate degeneration, promote inflammation that can result in pain and discomfort. Jess uses massage, visceral manipulation, cranio-sacral technique, dry needling, gentle manipulation and stretching to free restricted joints and release tight muscles, fascias and organs. This can assist the body to return to its most efficient state of health.

Dr. Angus Hughes

Angus aims to alleviate the patient’s symptoms and to help them in their recovery by providing the necessary tools for them to achieve their goals and ideal outcomes. He designs a treatment plan using an individualised approach to each patient according to their needs.

Angus uses a variety of osteopathic techniques, exercise prescription, dry needling and kinesiology taping to promote the body’s ability to heal, improve function and range of motion and reduce pain and discomfort. The osteopathic techniques Angus uses can include specific joint stretching (Muscle Energy Technique), myofacial release, articulation, manipulation and soft tissue massage.

Angus also sees great results from providing the tools for the patient to help in their recovery, including home or gym based exercises and education on types of footwear and the impacts it can have.
